I spent the past almost-20 years building a successful career in strategic brand marketing for leading brands, the type of organisations that move fast and thrive off pressure.

Organisations like: Cadbury, Philadelphia, and Heinz. 

The best part of those 20 years was having the privilege to lead, mentor and coach high-performing teams.

I learnt a lot about results. Success. Pressure. People management.

But the journey I had to take to become a mum encouraged me to revisit what success truly meant to me. 

On paper, I’d achieved all the things I wanted to.  But inside I didn’t feel how I thought I would.

I felt overworked, overwhelmed, and unfulfilled.  More like I was surviving, not thriving.

As a new mum I found myself wondering how I could be the mum I wanted to be whilst continuing with my demanding career. 

The relentless busy-ness no longer worked with two small humans waiting at home for me.

Two daughters looking at me as their example of how to thrive, both professionally and personally.

So I turned my focus inwards and redefined success on my terms.

Now I have a career that fulfils and excites me, and I have the balance and flexibility I’ve always dreamed of.
